Al-Jazeera Network transmits The Gulf Cup 2009 for National Teams in HD-TV on Arabsat Satellites 28th of Dec. 2008 - Riyadh The Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) has signed a contract with AL-Jazeera to transmit in HD-TV The Gulf Cup 2009 for National Teams, which will take place in Masqat – Amman from 4th of January 2009 to 17th of January 2009. Eng. Khalid Balkheyour, Arabsat President and CEO, stated that he is glad as Arabsat is transmitting the Gulf Cup through Arabsat Digital HD-TV bouquet that cover the whole Arab World and North Africa. Eng.
