Arabsat holds its Board Meetings in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
Arab Satellite Communications Organization – Arabsat-holds its 152nd Board of Directors meetings in Amman - Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on 5th-6th January 2016. Nine Arab countries are participating in this meetings, Saudi Arabia - Kuwait - Libya - Qatar - United Arab Emirates - Oman - Sudan - Egypt - Jordan.
Khalid Bin Ahmed Balkheyour President & CEO of Arabsat said that the specialized committees meetings will precede the Board Meeting sessions. The current Board Meetings will discuss number of topics, comes on the top of them the 2016 Budget and Arabsat future Strategic plan.
Balkheyour also added, "Arabsat has successfully completed all orbital tests for its new recently launched Satellite Badr-7, designed with a massive satellite capacities and a wide coverage for the whole African continent.
It's worth mentioning that Arabsat is the only Satellite operator in the Middle East, that offers a full range of satellite telecommunications and broadcasting services in addition to broadband services through a growing fleet of satellites on 26°East, 30.5°East, 20°East and 44.5°East as well as Arabsat new company, the Greek Satellite Operator, Hellas-Sat orbital position 39°East.
