ARABSAT organizes the first forum of financial officers at
Sharm El-Shaikh Resort
Riyadh, April 17, 2008
Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat), organizes the 1st forum of financial officers at Concorde El Salam Hotel, Sharm El-Shaikh resort, Egypt, on 23-24 April 2008 to be attended by a considerable crowd of Arab financial directors.
"We look forward to meeting with the key financial officials at Arab and foreign TV broadcasting firms as well as telecom companies in the Arab region in order to explore their latest needs and update them with the latest edge of financial systems Arabsat implements with its customers, in addition to upgrading the efficiency of Arabsat customers service systems and to make a quality leap in order to activate and increase communication channels between Arabsat and its clients” Engineer Khalid Balkhyour, Arabsat President & CEO stated.
It is worth mentioning that the Arab Ministers of Communications and heads of participating delegations in the general assembly held this month have approved the Board of Directors’ recommendations including the restructuring of Arabsat capital from US$163 Million to US$500. Arabsat has realized operational revenues of more than US$154 Million with net profits of more than $56 Million during the year 2007.

عرب سات تعقد ملتقاها الأول للماليين بمنتجع شرم الشيخ

تعقد المؤسسة العربية للاتصالات الفضائية ( عرب سات ) الملتقى الأول للماليين وذلك في فندق كونكورد السلام في منتجع شرم الشيخ بجمهورية مصر العربية خلال يومي 23 – 24ابريل2008م وذلك بحضور حشد من الماليين العرب .
وصرح المهندس/ خالد بن أحمد بالخيور الرئيس التنفيذي بأننا نطمح في اللقاء بالمدراء الماليين في مؤسسات البث الفضائي التليفزيوني العربي والأجنبي ، وكذلك شركات الاتصالات بالمنطقة العربية للتعرف إلي ما يستجد من احتياجاتهم وإطلاعهم علي أخر المستجدات والأنظمة المالية الحديثة التي تتبعها عرب سات مع عملائها ، وكذلك رفع كفاءة وفاعلية أنظمة خدمة عملاء عرب سات وإحداث نقلة نوعية تساهم في تفعيل وزيادة قنوات الاتصال بين عرب سات وعملائها .
من الجدير بالذكر أنه تمت الموافقة من قبل أصحاب المعالي وزراء الاتصالات العرب ورؤساء الوفود المشاركة في الجمعية العمومية والتي عقدت خلال الشهر الحالي علي توصيات مجلس الإدارة والمتضمنة إعادة هيكلة رأس مال المؤسسة من 163 مليون دولار إلي 500 مليون دولار وقد حققت المؤسسة إيرادات تشغليه أكثر من 154 مليون دولار بصافي ربح أكثر من 56 مليون دولار عن العام 2007.
