“Arabsat-2B Status Report”

In line with ARABSAT's continued commitment to keep its customers updated and well informed of the latest status of the -2B satellite, ARABSAT is pleased to announce that the satellite's orbit inclination is under full control and should be back to its nominal window within the next three weeks.  In spite of that, almost all services on the satellite have been fully recovered and the satellite coverage is not affected by the current slight inclination.

ARABSAT is also pleased to announce that -2B will continue to serve our valued customers well into the year 2012 and that all necessary operational steps have been taken -in collaboration with the satellite manufacturer- to prevent the reoccurrence of Such event that lead to this orbital deviation.

حرصا من المؤسسة العربية للاتصالات الفضائية - عرب سات  على إطلاع عملائها بشكل دورى عن آخر مستجدات القمر 2- ب تود عرب سات أن توضح لجميع عملائها الكرام أن ميلان القمر عرب سات 2 ب فى الموقع المدارى 30.5 درجة قد أوشك تماما على التصحيح حيث سيتم تصحيح ذلك الميلان في خلال الثلاثة أسابيع القادمة علما بأن تغطية القمر ومعظم الخدمات عليه غير متأثرة بهذا الميلان ، كما قام مهندسي التشغيل فى عرب سات  باتخاذ عدد من الإجراءات الاحترازية الوقائية للتخلص من مخاطر تكرار حدوث هذه المشكلة .

كما نود الإيضاح للعملاء الكرام أن القمر عرب سات 2 ب سيواصل تقديم خدماته لعملائه بوقود كافى حتى عام 2012 م .
