Teaming Agreement between ARABSAT & HICAP Telecom

Arabsat concluded an agreement for HICAP Telecom for Marketing VISAT
Riyadh, 27th Aug 2005

Arabsat CEO Eng. Khaled Balkhyour says this teaming agreement will provide VSAT services for ARABSATs Customers & all areas covered by current ARABSAT’s satellite & 4th generation satellite which it will be launched by end of this year with highly power & competitive prices as full services (Total solution)

Also Balkheyour says: the typical applications of the system are: trunking for PSTN telephony, IP data wide area networking, networking of corporate voice/data, videoconferencing, internet access, backhaul for cellular and wireless Local Loop, Maritime communications, exploration for gas& other natural resources, backup links for terrestrial systems.  

Mr. Farahan Bin Naif vice president for marketing  outlined that this agreement calls for the addition of other services as required. This includes, but is not limited to, TDMA/DAMA, IP Broadband, TV services .
