CEO statement to ALL Arabsat Customers

Arabsat is honored to extend its gratitude and thankfulness to all of its customers for the true support and continuous commitments from their side expressed after the unfortunate difficulties that our Proton launcher experienced on March 1st, leading to the placement of Arabsat-4A short of its final orbit.

Arabsat has long-established emergency plans and contingencies for all possible circumstances, including the failure of any Arabsat 4th Generation launches, and is now actively implementing them.  These plans will ensure the continuity of long term service provision for all customers currently on our fleet at 26° East until we are confident that BADR-4 is successfully launched and commercially deployed.  Arabsat has also numerous back-up alternatives using space capacity from a number of other satellite operators to 100% guarantee full service continuity.

We are therefore pleased to unambiguously reassure all of our customers of our continuous deep commitment and unlimited support to continue providing them with the most reliable service, and clearly announce that we are definitely in a position to continue to accommodate all of their current and future demands on any of our own operated fleet of satellites, or any other leased satellites currently under use by Arabsat, including BADR-2 at 26 Deg. East.

Arabsat would also like to clarify that what has been circulating questioning our technical capabilities and/or ability to honor long term service commitments, has simply no ground for truth whatsoever and, moreover, that we consider such maneuvers totally inconsistent with the very basic ethics and moral rules of normal and healthy professional and commercial business practices between respectable organizations. 

Therefore, we again would like to express our strength and full confidence to ensure our estimated customers of our definitive long term commitment to provide them with the most reliable service in the region, as we have always shown in many circumstances over our past 30 years of experience. 

Arabsat enjoys by far the most reliable and recognized experience in the Middle-East and North-Africa region, technically and financially, and will still continue to be the leader in satellite telecommunications in the Arab world for the many years to come.

رســـالة من الرئيس التنفيذي إلى جميع العملاء الكرام

تتقدم المؤسسة العربية للاتصالات الفضائية (عرب سات) ببالغ الشكر والامتنان لجميع عملائها الكرام على ما أبدوه من مشاعر الصدق والدعم المتواصل لعرب سات والتمنيات بالتوفيق الدائم لها بعد إخفاق شركة الإطلاق مؤخرا من وضع القمر (4 – أ) في مداره.

لقد وضعت عرب سات خططا للطوارئ وخططا بديلة في حالة فشل إطلاق أحد أقمار الجيل الرابع وتقوم حاليا بوضع هذه الخطط موضع التنفيذ وتشمل هذه الخطط استمرارية تقديم الخدمات لفترة طويلة إلى ما بعد إطلاق القمر عرب سات(4– ب ) والذي نسعى حاليا لإطلاقه في نفس الوقت المحدد أو خلال فترة وجيزة من ذلك التاريخ؛ حيث توجد خيارات في عقودنا مع مشغلي الأقمار الحالية يمكننا ممارستها لضمان استمرارية تقديم الخدمات.

تود عرب سات أن تحيطكم علما وتؤكد لكم جميعا قدرتها على تلبية طلبات عملائها الحاليين والمحتملين سواء على أي من الأقمار العاملة لديها حاليا أو من خلال الأقمار التي تستخدمها من قبل المشغلين الآخرين والتي من ضمنها القمر (2 – د) في الموقع 26 درجة شرقا. وتأمل عرب سات عدم الالتفات إلى محاولة البعض التشكيك في قدرتها بالمحافظة على عملائها واستمرار تقديمها لخدماتها ، كما توضح أن   ما تردد ما هو إلا تشويش يخرج عن إطار التعامل التجاري الملتزم بين المنظمات المشابهة، وعليه تود عرب سات في هذا المجال التأكيد على قدرتها الكاملة على المحافظة على استمرارية كافة الخدمات المقدمة حاليا إضافة إلى العقود الجديدة.

لقد واجهت عرب سات في السابق بعض التحديات وخرجت منها بشكل أقوى وأثبتت أنها على قدر مسؤوليتها وبقيت وستبقى عرب سات المنظومة الأوثق في هذه المنطقة بما تملكه من سمعة وخبرة وقدرات فنية ومالية لمواجهة أي طارئ يشهد لها به سوق الاتصالات الفضائية.
